Hello person reading this, if you are on my website you might want to known some stuff about me.
General stuff
I live in Australia, i'm an aroace guy who you might think is trans based on some of the games I play (celeste and ultrakill). I'm a linux user and a programming nerd who actually writes code (except for that time).
Where you can find me
I live at 308 Negra Arroyo Lane, Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87104.
I use wafrn for shitposting (all posts on wafrn get mirrored to bluesky).
If you want to contact me, I am radiant159 on discord and radiant159.24 on signal
Linux
I have used mint, arch and nixos previously, I currently use cachyOS. If you want to read more about some of my experiences on linux, Read the blog posts.
Programming
I will write a blog post about this in the near future, but tldr I have used python and C, briefly used C# and my main language is rust. My editor is neovim, but I just use the lazyvim configuration because I am, well, lazy.
Some projects I have made:
-
Gock: A silly discord bot that I host on my thinkpad, more information on the codeberg repo.
-
Multichat: Definitely my biggest project, and still work in progress; I initially got the idea as another wave of "I want to leave discord but all my friends are still on it" started. I thought that if it was easier to use multiple apps alongside each other, then people would be more likely to try out alternatives. Which made me start creating multichat, which achieves this by having python scripts (plugins) handle communicating with the app, and translating the necessary information into a standard format. The backend, which is effectively just a rust library, can be found here and the frontend app (a tui, but it is possible to make your own) here. Please be warned that multichat is still in development and is not ready for everyday use, but feel free to contribute by testing my code, writing your own, or suggesting features/changes.
-
Minecord: A less serious project that makes use of the minescript mod to run a discord bot with access to your minecraft client, allowing people in a discord channel to control the game. Be warned this was programmed in one afternoon and may have issues.
-
Radiant AI: An AI model more profitable than any major AI company, that definitely isn't just a list of hard coded responses
-
And of course, this website. I won't talk much about it here because I have already made a whole website about it.
